Apprenticeships provide work-based training to young people and adults (16 – 24 years) who want to learn new skills, earn whilst they learn and gain qualifications whilst working with an Employer.
Whilst undertaking an Apprenticeship, they are studying towards qualifications with GHQ Training. These include a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), personal thinking and learning skills in addition to functional skills.
FACT: 16 – 18 year olds do not need to stay in school education they can start an apprenticeship at any time

GHQ Training receives funding for its Apprenticeships and vocational training from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA)
The Skills Funding Agency, are a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) who exist to fund and promote adult further education (FE) and skills training in England. The Skills Funding agency is co-funded by ESF (European Social Fund), who are passionate about ‘Investing in jobs and skills’ throughout Europe.
